Qualifications:

Hold (or have pending) a valid Special Education GaPSC Certification with SPED content through 8th grade Adapted Curriculum Endorsement is required Experience working in a self-contained classroom and/or with functional curriculums is highly desirable Strong collaboration skills with paraprofessionals and support staff Commitment to accommodating diverse learning needs Duties include: Designing and delivering adapted instruction to students with a range of disabilities Developing and implementing IEPs, progress monitoring, and maintaining data-driven instruction Collaborating with paraprofessionals and support personnel to provide a safe, inclusive, and effective learning environment Participating in planning, professional development, and parent meetings as needed Actively contributing to a positive school climate and culture The role is a full-time position, covering approximately 37.5-40 hours per week, with potential for additional planning days before and after the stated school dates.
