Immediately Job Description Overview The Cape Cod Collaborative is an educational organization providing a full range of instructional and support services to the students, parents and public school staff of our 20 member districts, whose needs are best addressed through a multi-district effort.

Our student services include:

alternative education programs for low incident, special needs populations; programs for the multi-handicapped; therapy and services for students requiring specialized support; and a full range of transportation services for both the special needs and general education population. We coordinate collegial sharing opportunities for various professional groups, conduct executive searches and offer a wide range of professional development and training opportunities for the educators and support personnel of our member districts. #WeAreOneCollaborative Job Description Waypoint Academy (South Yarmouth) supports students in middle and high school in an alternative school setting. There are openings for teachers with certification in Moderate Disabilities (5-12). Performance Responsibilities (include but are not limited to) FBA & Development of Positive Behavior Support Plans (including reinforcement systems, visual contracts, etc.) Ability to manage challenging behaviors Understanding of pragmatics / social skills needs Development and modification of curriculum Collaboration and integration of therapies Assessment of data collection for developing IEPs Conduct state and local assessments Develop data collection systems to ensure proper reporting of student progress Supervise and train paraprofessionals Other duties as directed by Program Director Reports to: Waypoint Academy Program Director
