$58,240 - $68,640 DOE Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join their finance team in Kent, WA. This organization is a well-established leader in the manufacturing and service space, known for long-term stability, strong values, and a commitment to employee development. This is a hands-on accounting role ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in accuracy, and values ownership of their work. You'll play a key role in maintaining financial records and supporting core accounting operations in a fast-paced, well-structured environment. Overview Of The Staff Accountant Role Maintain accounting records, including general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, and subsidiary ledgers Record, review, and analyze transactions within the accounting system Perform account reconciliations, including bank and intercompany accounts Post monthly, quarterly, and year-end accruals Support tax filings and assist with year-end audit requests and documentation Qualifications For The Staff Accountant Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail Ability to manage priorities and work independently Clear written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs A strong sense of ownership and pride in producing accurate, high-quality work This Staff Accountant role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution within a stable, well-run organization that values professionalism, consistency, and growth.
