Dental Regional Operations Manager
Job Description
Reports to:
CEO.Location:
LA, 5 days in office, regular travel to offices.You will own:
Treatment planning: Drive revenue and profit. Audit that plans are complete, specialty days run consistently, and patients leave pre-scheduled.Patient scheduling:
Trello, exception reports, and daily/weekly/monthly checklists done well. Own no-show, cancellation, and recall follow-up. Staff scheduling &HR:
Every office fully staffed on Deputy. Recruit, train, review, and terminate across all roles. Manage PTO, overtime, and call-outs.Compliance:
OSHA, HIPAA, logs, and external audits. Handle EDD, unemployment, and workers comp requests. OM & Hygiene coaching: Train OMs on collections, treatment presentation, and huddles. Push financing to lift acceptance. Patient experience & marketing: Google reviews, reappointments with estimates, Subscribli adds, and local marketing plans. •KPIs:
Revenue and profit growth per office, QoQ 95% of charts with complete, correct treatment plans ≥85% reappointment rate Zero failed audits; 100% of logs current Zero Deputy staffing gaps; turnover on target Acceptance rate and financing-offer targets hit Google review and Subscribli targets hit per officeProfile:
4+ years multi-unit operations in dental, healthcare, or services Clinically fluent — can read a treatment plan and spot gaps Comfortable holding dentists and OMs accountable directly Obsessive about checklists, logs, and follow-through Fluent in Deputy, Trello, dental PMS, and AI tools Strong recruiter and people developer Has scaled <10 to 50+ units before LA-based, willing to travel; no visa sponsorship To apply: Send resume + a 1-page memo on a time you fixed an underperforming multi-unit operation.
