Information Technology Specialist - Healthcare

Southern California Medical Center is looking for IT Specialist to join a team of professionals. This position will require travelling between clinics in Van Nuys, El Monte, San Dimas, Woodland Hills, Pico Rivera and Long Beach when needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and configure hardware and software systems according to company policies. 2. Troubleshoot and repair network, hardware, and software components. 3. Perform routine maintenance and inspection of network and server systems. 4. Test network and server systems to verify functionality and performance. 5. Perform hardware and software upgrades to achieve optimum performance level. 6. Perform root cause analysis of complex problems and provide corrective actions. 7. Maintain IT infrastructure and manage help desk issues. 8. Perform system back-up and database archiving processes to ensure date recoverability. 9. Update software antivirus on regular basis. 10. Provide technical support to servers, networks, telephones, and other computing platforms. 11. Order and stock equipment and supplies when necessary. 12. Assist in installation and maintenance of telephone system. 13. Scanning medical records in the system. 14. Preforms other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 2. Up-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software, hardware, and upgrades. 3. Knowledge of a variety of hardware, software, programing and operational systems. 4. Knowledge of Active Directory and GPO's. 5. Driver's license and willingness to travel between the sites in Van Nuys, El Monte, San Dimas, Woodland Hills, Pico Rivera and Long Beach.

Education/Experience:

1. Associates Degree, Bachelor's preferred. 2. Minimum of two years of experience working with network and server management support.

Physical Requirements:

1. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 2. Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times. 3. Prolonged periods of driving
