$65.00hr - $70.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
Strong familiarity with semiconductor design flows and backend compute environments. Hands-on experience triaging distributed resource management systems (e.g., IBM Spectrum LSF, Slurm, Altair Grid Engine). Experience managing and debugging FlexLM / FlexNet publisher systems. Proficiency in triaging pipeline disruptions in Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Perl for automated log analysis and environment checking. Strong problem-solving and rapid debugging skills under pressure. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Monitor, manage, and triage issues within high-performance compute environments (e.g., LSF, Grid Engine, or Slurm) to ensure optimal job scheduling and resource utilization. Track, debug, and resolve license checkout failures, denials, and server sync issues for major EDA vendors (Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens/Mentor). Troubleshoot and resolve automated build, test, and simulation failures within the hardware CI infrastructure. Partner closely with hardware design engineers, CAD teams, and IT infrastructure to provide rapid root-cause analysis and minimize engineering downtime.
