Who You Are:
You take ownership of employee problems and follow them through to resolution. You enjoy troubleshooting that requires real investigation rather than guesswork, and you know how to make technical information understandable for people with different levels of technical comfort. You're comfortable moving between hands-on support, account administration, and documentation, and you know when to bring in a specialist rather than push past what you're equipped to handle.
Other qualifications include:
At least 3 years of progressively responsible end-user IT support experience, including Level II troubleshooting Hands-on experience supporting Windows workstations and common business applications Experience with routine Microsoft 365 user administration (accounts, licenses, mailboxes, groups, access) Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP) sufficient to diagnose and escalate issues Understanding of end-user cybersecurity fundamentals (MFA, phishing, patching, least-privilege access) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between Gradient locations Ability to pass a background check and drug test (including THC)
What You'll Do:
As the IT Specialist, you'll be the primary onsite technology resource for Gradient employees. You'll troubleshoot everything from workstations to accounts to phones, keep our remote Systems Administrator supported with the hands-on work only an onsite person can do, and make sure every employee gets clear, patient help when something isn't working. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee technology questions, incidents, and service requests, diagnosing and resolving Level I and Level II issues. Configure and support workstations, phones, and peripherals for new hires, role changes, and offboarding. Administer routine Microsoft 365, LastPass, and third-party application access, including password and MFA resets. Serve as the onsite hands for Gradient's remote Systems Administrator, testing, inspecting, and installing infrastructure equipment under technical direction. Maintain accurate IT documentation, including asset inventories, troubleshooting guides, and onboarding/offboarding checklists. Gradient is an equal opportunity employer.
