Position Description You will serve as a Computer Engineer in the FST/MRO Engineering Division of

FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities You will be the technical lead and focal point for program sponsors by serving as the programmatic lead, manager of project funds, and provide system software expertise to Branch personnel engaged in the performance of complex project tasks. You will formulate overall weapon system software design concepts and development approaches for application to specific or multiple weapon system design efforts. You will perform a variety of in-house software project management activities including software project planning, tracking, budget management, and directly managing personnel performing software engineering work. You will perform design trade-off studies and analyses necessary to justify selection of one design approach over another as well as participating in the design and specification of data processing system/subsystems. You will translate Integrated Program Team ((IPT) plans into Fleet Support Team (FST) requirements which include tasking efforts, personnel requirements, budget allocations, risk assessments, and developmental priorities and sequencing obligations. You will present tasking requirements to assist in the development of support plans along with leading a team toward the accomplishment of the tasking requirements within the established fiscal, schedule, and operating constraints. You will prepare procurement packages and assist/direct the proposal evaluation and award functions as appropriate. Minimum Salary 121585 Maximum Salary 158062
