As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help define the next generation of creation on the Roblox platform. The Creator team own the Open Cloud platform which underpins all of Roblox's public HTTP APIs. Our platform enables the company to support creator and AI agent automation of tasks like community management, CI/CD and in-game economy management.
You Are:
3+ years of industry experience building Internet-facing backend systems. Familiar with using developer-facing HTTP APIs. Understand the difference between authentication and authorization. Familiar with OAuth2.0 at a conceptual level. Comfortable owning projects end to end, including involvement in setting product goals. Ideally, experienced with shipping and maintaining developer-facing APIs. Ideally, experienced running a developer-facing platform
  • whether for 'company-internal' developers or a public platform.
You Will:
Help build the systems that enable product teams at Roblox to expose their APIs, authorize access to them, publish docs, and communicate with users. Work across the whole stack to solve problems for Roblox creators. Take ownership of projects throughout their full lifecycle, from conception to post-shipping monitoring and iteration. Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
