Job Description

alphaMountain.ai is a lean, fast-moving cybersecurity company focused on AI-driven threat intelligence and web categorization. The team operates with an all-hands-on-deck mindset and values marketers who can move fluidly between strategy, execution, and technical subject matter. The company is seeking an experienced cybersecurity marketer who can help translate complex technical capabilities into clear market positioning, campaigns, and content that drive awareness and pipeline. This role is designed for a senior individual contributor or consultant who wants meaningful ownership without a full-time commitment. Responsibilities Develop and refine messaging for cybersecurity buyers, partners, and technical stakeholders, turning product capabilities into clear business value. Own or support multi-channel content programs, including LinkedIn, newsletters, website copy, sales enablement assets, case studies, and campaign content. Plan and execute demand generation initiatives across channels such as paid search, paid social, email, and partner marketing. Support industry events, webinars, and trade shows by shaping messaging, coordinating campaign assets, and helping maximize pre-event and post-event pipeline follow-up. Conduct market and competitor research to sharpen positioning and identify content and campaign opportunities. Partner closely with company leadership, sales, and product teams to ensure marketing reflects technical accuracy and commercial priorities. Use AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate research, drafting, repurposing, and creative production while maintaining high quality. Qualifications 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, with meaningful experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, SaaS, or other technical enterprise products. Strong command of positioning and content development for technical products, with the ability to speak credibly to both practitioners and business buyers. Comfortable operating independently in a small-company environment where priorities can shift quickly and execution matters as much as strategy. Experienced with core modern marketing tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, HubSpot, Google Analytics, webinar platforms, and AI-assisted workflows. Strong writer and editor who can produce polished content with minimal oversight. Must be familiar with threat intelligence, security operations, URL filtering, DNS security, or related cyber workflows.
