Not on-site or < 10% of hours worked on-site The Department of International Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is seeking a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst will review and analyze data. The Data Analyst will create reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and/or leadership and utilize findings to aid in decision-making. Specific Duties & Responsibilities Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data in accordance with applicable privacy laws such as
FERPA/HIPAA.
Communicate findings compellingly and visually through dashboards, reports, briefing decks, stories, scorecards, executive briefings, etc. For different audiences using solutions like Power BI and Tableau. Proofread and edit reports and other products to attain consistency of format. Regular outreach to offices to learn about upcoming surveys scheduled; maintain up to date documentation. Assist with the development of a detailed communication strategy and plan for the office/assigned area. Maintain office website and produce materials in coordination with the divisional communications team. Other duties as assigned. In addition to the duties described above Perform data manipulation and variable creation for vaginal microbiome cohort study. Analyze micronutrient status and nutrition/diet data from the baseline survey. Conduct analyses to evaluate associations between nutrition and vaginal microbiome composition in a longitudinal cohort. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree. Three years of related experience. Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. Preferred Qualifications Nutritional science experience. Experience with data analysis in Stata or R. JHU Equivalency Formula:
30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis.
