Ab Initio Developer / ETL Developer#26-23816

Charlotte, NC

Hybrid Job Description We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio Developer / ETL Developer to support a large-scale Consumer Banking and Credit Services modernization initiative. The role will focus on enterprise data integration, ETL development, data quality, and migration activities supporting critical consumer banking and credit reporting processes. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Ab Initio ETL workflows and data integration processes.

Develop data pipelines for high-volume enterprise applications.

Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems.

Work with relational databases, including Oracle.

Support application lift-and-shift and modernization initiatives.

Develop and maintain data transformation and validation processes.

Perform data quality checks and troubleshoot data-related issues.

Work closely with Java, UI, database, and platform engineering teams.

Support data migration and reconciliation activities.

Analyze data issues and provide root-cause analysis.

Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.

Ensure data processing meets requirements for accuracy, compliance, auditability, and retention.

Work within Agile/Scrum teams and participate in technical discussions.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio development.

Strong ETL/data integration experience.

Experience with enterprise data processing and transformation.

Strong SQL skills.

Experience with Oracle and relational databases.

Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.

Understanding of batch processing and large-volume data environments.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

Experience in banking, financial services, or credit services.

Experience supporting credit reporting or consumer banking data.

Experience with application migration and modernization programs.

Experience working alongside Java-based enterprise applications.

Experience with data quality and regulatory/audit requirements.

Experience with additional ETL or data integration technologies.

Location Charlotte, NC - 5 days onsite preferred/expected. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate combines strong Ab Initio/ETL expertise with enterprise data experience and understands the importance of data accuracy, traceability, compliance, and auditability in financial services environments.
