GSA per diem on top of the hourly, 27 cents a mile getting to and from, and flights home expensed several times through the year. You would be supporting the commissioning team. Coordinating pre-functional and functional testing across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and controls. Tracking the schedule and what is ready to test. Managing test scripts, checklists and turnover packages. Chasing deficiencies and closing out punch lists. Sitting in on startup, integrated systems testing and owner training.

What you need:

You have supported commissioning, MEP construction, QA/QC, startup or facility operations somewhere You know your way around HVAC, electrical distribution, UPS, generators, building automation and life safety You are organized and you stay on top of paperwork You can chase trades without falling out with them No data center experience needed. Hospital, pharma, manufacturing and advanced technology backgrounds all work. If you have run test scripts and turnover packages on a big MEP job, you already do most of this.
