Network Infrastructure Administrator
Job Description
This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered. As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a U.S. citizen. The Network Infrastructure Manager oversees the management, maintenance, security, planning, and optimization of the IT network. Responsibilities include monitoring network availability, troubleshooting issues, enforcing policies, ensuring performance, and providing technical support. They manage multi-server environments, perform upgrades, and maintain network logs, while reporting on network status during routine checks and outages.

Manage, maintain, and secure IT networks. Plan, model, design, and coordinate network infrastructure. Ensure network availability to authorized users. Troubleshoot and resolve network, hardware, and software issues. Enforce network policies, monitor access, and optimize performance. Report on network status and performance. Support multi-server environments (IP addressing, DNS, WINS). Perform system upgrades and create network logs. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Network Infrastructure Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Network Administration is preferred, not required. Personnel performing the network engineering function shall maintain Cisco certification CCNA and/or CCDA, as well as Security+. Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing and seeing up close, at a distance, along the periphery, with depth perception and the ability to adjust focus; occasional walking or standing. Strong understanding of network management and security. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware/software/network issues. Expertise in IP address schemes, DNS, WINS, and Ether-Channel bonding. Ability to analyze and optimize network performance. Experience in system upgrades and maintenance. Excellent communication and technical support skills. Knowledge of network logs and documentation practices. Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.Company Information :
