  • Job Description:
  • The selected candidate will develop and maintain data analysis tools and environments.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Python, CI/CD, and Kubernetes deployments with experience architecting microservices and n-tier software applications. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to continuously improve software solutions, ensure engineering excellence, and achieve program objectives. Position Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that meet industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.
  • Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial design of software products.
  • Develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize software products and functionalities for systems integrations.
  • Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products.
  • Participate in the agile software development lifecycle including planning, reviews, and supporting customer meetings.
  • Debug and resolve issues identified to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products.
  • Handle user inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues and user feedback analysis.
  • Implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations relevant to software development.
  • Develop, establish, monitor, and improve software processes, tools, and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
  • Execute and document software research and development projects.
  • Advise on software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations.
  • Perform software project management activities and software supplier management functions.
  • Track and evaluate software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process compliance with project plans and industry standards.
This position requires an active TS/SCI Clearance with an adjudicated polygraph (U.S. Citizenship Required).
Required Skills:
  • Active TS/SCI with adjudicated polygraph
  • 5+ years' experience in foundational Computer Science knowledge
  • 3+ years of experience in Python scripting
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Experience working with transform of large quantities of timeseries data
  • Experience architecting microservice and n-tier software applications
  • Experience with Java and Javascript/React
  • Experience with databases, Linux, and mTLS Education /
Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
