Senior UI / Visual Designer - Design Systems - Design Thinking

Our client, the UX Design team of a global CPG company, is looking for a Senior UI / Visual Designer with deep experience in design systems and design thinking to join their team on a 2-3 month sprint, starting on or before May 1. This role is ONSITE, Monday through Thursday, remote Fridays, in the Kansas City / Overland Park area. In order to be considered for this role, the Senior UI / Visual Designer MUST have experience with updating design systems and applying design thinking. In this role, the Senior UI / Visual Designer will be taking a new design language and applying it to the digital teams UX design system in Figma.

Requirements for this role include:

• minimum 7+ years of UI, visual and design application experience; preferably for consumer brands
• extensive experience with design system application, design system thinking and application of brand to existing design systems
• deep digital design experience
• ability to quickly understand design language and apply it to design systems
• experience moving quickly and with attention to detail through high-priority, highly visible projects
• deep knowledge of Figma
• ability to code in HTML/CSS and Storybook is a major plus!
