Job Description You are getting closer to touching the sky! ✈️ We want you to be part of this exciting journey where you can grow and develop alongside a highly trained and diverse team that will help you overcome obstacles and reach your destination. 🎯 Operations Agent, Dallas In this role, you will monitor and control the ground operation of the aircraft, ensuring operational safety, risk management, resource coordination, and compliance with service procedures and standards, as well as established times and itineraries.
Specific functions:
Ensure the availability, operational condition, and correct assignment of personnel, GSE equipment, and other resources required for the safe and efficient handling of the aircraft. Verify, before, during, and after the flight handling, that the assigned position remains free of FOD, obstructions, and unsafe conditions for maneuvers and operations on the platform. Ensure the execution of briefings before loading, validating scheduling, priorities, operational risks, and special flight conditions, and confirm that the authorized load corresponds with what is physically presented on the platform and meets the required identification, labeling, and packaging conditions. Verify and execute the 360° check of the aircraft upon arrival and departure, prior to docking and after decoupling equipment. Ensure compliance with the marshalling plan and the correct execution of positioning, approach, coupling, and movement of GSE equipment. Monitor and ensure the complete loading and unloading of cargo and baggage, guaranteeing its correct handling and distribution according to the Load Instruction Report (LIR) and loading priorities, as well as the correct reading, traceability, and handling of baggage. Verify that the fueling process is executed according to established procedures and safety conditions. Evaluate and follow up on the correct provision of complementary services associated with flight handling, including, when applicable to long transits, the interior cleaning of the aircraft.
Check-in / boarding requirements:
Academic training: Technician (Airport ramp operations, airport operations, air operations, aircraft dispatch, logistics, or related areas).
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in airport ramp operations or related areas. Desirable, but not mandatory: Experience in auditing or operational quality control.
Knowledge:
- Comprehensive ground handling of aircraft and safe use of equipment (GSE)
- Operational safety on the platform and risk management.
- Handling of cargo, baggage, and operational flight services.
