Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Deliver products efficiently along designated routes, ensuring on-time arrivals and customer satisfaction. Assist with merchandising and product placement at retail stores to enhance sales opportunities. Engage with customers professionally, building rapport and addressing inquiries or concerns with excellent communication skills. Manage heavy lifting tasks responsibly, utilizing safe techniques to handle merchandise during loading and unloading. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to maximize revenue. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records for organizational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in commercial driving or automobile transportation, with a valid driver's license suitable for the vehicle type. Knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and DOT regulations to ensure safety and compliance. Strong math skills for pricing calculations, inventory management, and transaction processing. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Retail store experience or merchandising background is a plus for understanding product placement strategies.
