In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting packages from our hub to designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help us maintain high standards of service, safety, and efficiency. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced logistics operation that values reliability, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. Duties Safely operate box trucks or personal vehicles to deliver packages to customers. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices. Follow designated routes, traffic laws, and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations to ensure safe driving at all times. Assist with warehouse operations by moving packages within the facility using manual transmission vehicles or pallet jacks. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring packages are delivered accurately and courteously. Maintain accurate delivery records using mobile devices and update delivery statuses promptly. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues immediately. Skills Previous warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse operations are highly desirable. Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or commercial truck driver with knowledge of route driving. Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform manual handling tasks safely in accordance with workplace weight handling standards. Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or similar devices. Strong understanding of traffic regulations, DOT regulations, and safe driving practices for box trucks or personal vehicles. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Proficiency with mobile devices for route navigation, delivery updates, and record keeping.
