Job Description
This position requires an individual to safely drive a propane delivery vehicle to customer locations. This position also requires someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, customer Service and Employee Team-Work. Making deliveries in all type of weather and conditions. Overtime is possible in the heating season. Responsible for achieving delivery objectives set forth by the local District Manager. Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations. This position requires an individual to safely drive a propane delivery vehicle to our customer locations. This position also requires someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, Customer Service and Employee Team-Work. Prior gas delivery experience helpful CDL Hazmat, tanker, and air brakes endorsements required. Ability to work outdoors in various weather and driving conditions Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with existing and potential customers Flexibility to work outside of basic job description Excellent customer service skills Desire to succeed and advance in a team environment Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test and Homeland Security Background Check. Good interpersonal skills and willingness to take direction from plant manager. Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a Hazmat endorsement and Tanker endorsement. Employee must be capable of frequently lifting cylinders weighing 40-50 pounds. Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test and Homeland Security Background Check. Must have a Hazmat license. Minimum 2-year CDL license.
