Isuzu NRR Cab-Over Truck Job Summary Solvent Direct, one of the fastest-growing chemical and gas distribution companies in the U.S., is seeking a CDL Hazmat Delivery Driver for our local and regional delivery operations. This is a home-daily position operating Monday through Friday. There are no regularly scheduled overnight routes. The driver will operate an Isuzu NRR cab-over delivery truck and be responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of hazardous materials and related products to commercial customers throughout the service area. This position also includes warehouse and distribution responsibilities when not actively making deliveries. We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated professional with strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a safety-first mindset. Essential Job Duties Local Delivery Operations Safely operate an Isuzu NRR cab-over truck on local and regional delivery routes. Complete scheduled customer deliveries Monday through Friday and return home daily. Transport hazardous materials in full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company requirements. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Properly load, secure, transport, and unload cylinders, containers, pallets, and other products. Verify all products and quantities before departure and upon delivery. Obtain and submit required proof-of-delivery documentation. Maintain accurate shipping papers and other required transportation documentation. Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and management regarding deliveries, delays, or issues. Maintain assigned vehicle in a clean, safe, and professional condition. Immediately report vehicle defects, safety concerns, accidents, citations, spills, or other incidents. Warehouse & Distribution Assist with shipping and receiving operations. Load and unload delivery vehicles. Secure pallets and products for transportation. Receive, sort, organize, and stage inventory. Assist with inventory counts and inventory control. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment when properly trained and authorized. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and loading area. Follow all company procedures relating to hazardous-material storage, handling, segregation, and documentation. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Valid Hazmat endorsement. Tanker endorsement where required. Acceptable driving record. Ability to meet all applicable DOT and FMCSA driver qualification requirements. Experience transporting hazardous materials preferred. Experience operating commercial delivery trucks preferred. Experience with cab-over trucks is a plus. Forklift experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete required documentation. Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential. Must be able to work independently and follow established safety and operating procedures. Physical Requirements This is a physically active delivery and warehouse position.

Frequently enter and exit the Isuzu NRR cab-over truck throughout the workday. Load, unload, move, and secure products and equipment. Push, pull, bend, reach, climb, and work on their feet for extended periods. Safely perform the physical requirements associated with commercial delivery and warehouse operations. Work Schedule Monday through Friday This position is structured around local and regional daytime delivery operations with the driver returning home daily. Weekend and overnight routes are not part of the regularly scheduled position, although occasional additional hours may be required based on operational needs. Position Expectations Solvent Direct operates a safety-sensitive hazardous-material distribution business. Drivers are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, reliability, regulatory compliance, and attention to detail at all times. Successful employees will consistently demonstrate safe driving practices, accurate documentation, dependable attendance, strong customer service, and proper handling of company equipment and hazardous materials.
