Dump Truck Driver
•CDL with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements Central Civil Construction is seeking an experienced, safety-focused Dump Truck Driver to join our heavy civil construction team. Central Civil is a well-established heavy civil contractor specializing in underground utilities, earthwork, roadway construction, land development, and complex infrastructure projects throughout South Florida.

ENDORSEMENTS
Applicants MUST possess BOTH Hazmat and Tanker endorsements on their CDL at the time of application. Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are mandatory for this position. Applicants who do not currently possess both endorsements will not be considered. Responsibilities Safely operate company dump trucks and other assigned commercial vehicles. Transport dirt, aggregate, construction materials, equipment, and other loads to and from project sites. Transport materials requiring Hazmat and/or Tanker endorsements when assigned. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Ensure loads are properly secured and transported safely. Maintain accurate daily logs, tickets, and required DOT documentation. Immediately report vehicle defects, damage, accidents, or safety concerns. Maintain assigned vehicle in a clean and safe operating condition. Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, project managers, and field personnel. Follow designated routes and jobsite instructions. Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, company, and project-specific safety requirements. Follow all Central Civil policies regarding safe driving and the use of company vehicles. Current DOT Medical Card. Previous commercial dump truck driving experience strongly preferred. Heavy civil construction experience preferred. Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe commercial driving practices. Ability to safely maneuver commercial vehicles on active construction sites. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions. Must be dependable and report to work as scheduled. Must be available for overtime and occasional weekend work based on project needs. Must successfully complete all company pre-employment requirements.
