Commercial Carpet Logistics "CCL" is now accepting applications for CDL Class B drivers to deliver carpet and flooring products to commercial warehouses in the Mid Atlantic area. Equipment:
28ft Box Trucks•less than 5 years old and well maintained!
Hours:
Monday•Friday, 8 to 12 hours per day, available from 6 am•6 pm.
Qualifications:
Possess a valid CDL. Possess a valid DOT Medical Certificate, minimum of 1-year. Have a minimum of 2 years' CDL truck driving experience, and able to pass a road test. You must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. Motor Vehicle Record and PSP must not have excessive safety violations. Experienced and physically able to operate hand trucks and manual pallet jacks. Must be customer service minded and professional. Must be hardworking, high energy, dependable, and a team player.
Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities:
Arrive at the terminal on time and ready to work. Follow the scheduled route for daily deliveries. Ensure products are delivered in a timely manner. Collect signature or payment, if necessary, upon arrival to the recipient client Document overages, shortages, and damages to the freight Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures. Keep the vehicle organized and clean. Serve as a brand ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public; customer service is a large part of the driver's responsibilities. Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules. Utilize technology per company policy, including dual facing cameras.
Compensation & Benefits:
$25 per hour to start. Weekly pay, Direct Deposit. Health Insurance, CCL pays approximately 50% on select plans.
