TRANSPORT

(Tractor Trailer) CDL Requirement - Class A CDL Our Trucking Company is located in Silverton, Oregon and has one (1) Transport Driver position available. This position is responsible for driving a tractor/trailer truck to make pick-ups and deliveries of predominantly finished product or materials/supplies. Drivers are home 3-5 nights every week plus Saturdays & Sundays off. Medical, Dental & Vision insurance are fully paid for employee. Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Deliver finished product or raw materials to assigned destination Ensure safety and compliance of load Checks and/or assists in the loading/unloading of the trailer Obtains proper authorization for all deliveries/pick-ups Responsible for checking vehicle for proper and safe operating condition before and after each trip Must maintain a DOT driver's log, other required transportation documentation and adhere to all DOT regulations

Education/Experience/Skills:

High school diploma or GED 21 years of age or older Class A CDL with a clean driving record required, Hazmat endorsements not required Experience operating trucks requiring a CDL Class A license (for example, driving forwards, driving backwards, maneuvering in tight spaces, dropping and hooking, operating landing gear, or backing into docks and confined spaces) Experience operating a tractor-trailer in different conditions (for example, highway driving, side/local roads, city/country, maneuvering in tight spaces) Requires working tractor/trailer components, including bending and cranking landing gear as well as climbing in and out of cabs and sitting for extended periods of time Must pass a pre-employment drug test and DOT physical requirements Our Company is dedicated to the policy of equality of employment opportunity for all its employees without regard to their race, color, religion, gender, age, disability, national origin or any other category protected by law.
