Class A CDL Driver - Site Work & Utility Contractor Open Position - Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver to support our site work and underground utility operations. This role is ideal for a reliable driver who understands construction jobsite logistics, can safely haul materials and equipment, and is comfortable working in a fast‑moving heavy civil environment. If you take pride in safe driving, punctuality, and keeping crews supplied and productive, this is a solid long‑term opportunity. Key Responsibilities Safely operate Class A trucks for hauling materials, aggregates, equipment, and jobsite supplies Transport excavators, skid steers, and other heavy equipment to and from job locations Assist with loading/unloading using chains, binders, and proper securing methods Maintain accurate delivery logs and follow DOT regulations Support field crews with jobsite needs, including material staging and equipment moves Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues Represent the company professionally with clients, inspectors, and the public Qualifications Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record Experience hauling equipment for site work or utility contractors preferred Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe load securement practices Ability to operate and maneuver trucks in tight jobsite conditions Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused Ability to assist with general labor or equipment tasks when needed is a plus Experience with lowbed trailers preferred but not required What We Offer Competitive hourly pay with some prevailing wage Health, dental, and vision insurance 401K Retirement plan Paid time off and holidays Steady work with a reputable contractor A supportive team environment and opportunities for advancement
