Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Cargo Van Driver (OTR). This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a box truck or cargo van, ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy driving, this position is perfect for you! Duties Safely operate a cargo van or box truck on over-the-road routes, following designated schedules and routes. Comfortable driving long distances Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition and report any maintenance issues promptly. Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, traffic laws, and company policies during all driving activities. Manage delivery documentation accurately using mobile devices, including delivery manifests, route logs, and proof of delivery. Good communication skills, must follow dispatch instructions and pickup/delivery schedules. and must provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups. Qualifications Proven experience as a driver with a focus on commercial driving. Commercial driviing, OTR, or expedited, experience preferred. Valid driver's license appropriate for operating a box truck or cargo van; CDL license is a plus but not required. Strong driving skills. Knowledge of safe manual handling practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace. Familiarity with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and route driving best practices for over-the-road deliveries. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during all interactions. We need drivers who understand that once a load is accepted, the expectation is to complete it. Drivers must be dependable, communicate consistently, take care of company equipment, and understand that OTR freight does not guarantee a return home after every load. Compensation Earn up to $1000+ weekly 1099 position Paid weekly Actual earnings depend on freight availability, miles, market conditions, and driver availability.
