Prototype & Vehicle Testing Location:

Dearborn, MI (Hybrid) We are seeking a motivated Powertrain Test Technician to support prototype builds, test vehicle operations, and powertrain system validation. This role plays a key part in ensuring engines, after-treatment systems, and vehicle platforms are properly built, tested, and maintained to meet performance and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Support test vehicle fleet operations, including maintenance, safety inspections, and instrumentation updates Coordinate builds, installation, and maintenance of engine and after-treatment systems Work with engineering teams to complete designs, drawings, and prototype orders Manage prototype procurement, including bill of materials, documentation, and supplier coordination Diagnose test vehicle and engine issues, implement fixes, and minimize downtime Perform data collection and review test results using calibration tools Create custom wiring harnesses and support test cell setup Track catalyst aging requests and coordinate testing processes

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred) 3+ years of experience in engine or vehicle testing and development Valid driver's license Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills:
