Duties Safely operate passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttle buses, or personal vehicles to transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other non-emergency destinations Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, local driving routes, and state transportation laws to ensure safety at all times Assist passengers with mobility challenges by providing courteous support during boarding and disembarking, including manual handling when necessary Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation and safety standards are met Communicate effectively with clients to confirm schedules, provide updates, and address any special needs or concerns during transit Use GPS navigation systems to follow designated routes efficiently and arrive on time consistently Document trip details accurately in logs or digital systems and report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly Experience Prior experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, or chauffeur driving passenger vehicles is highly preferred Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes enhances efficiency and punctuality Experience with medical transportation services or paratransit operations is a strong plus Knowledge of state transportation regulations and safety protocols related to passenger vehicle operation is essential Demonstrated ability in customer service roles, especially within healthcare or client-focused environments Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers or handling equipment safely Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and coordination with dispatch teams Join us in delivering dependable transportation that makes a positive impact on our community!
