Non-exempt, $17.50 per hour

Location:
24 Tabor Crossing Longmeadow, MA 01106 Summary Glenmeadow seeks a compassionate driver to transport our residents from medical appointments, social events, and other locations as needed. The ideal candidate is patient and has a passion for working with older adults. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Transport residents safely,ensuring all safety regulationsare followed, including securingwheelchairs, scooters, walkers, etc. Comply withall traffic regulations whileoperatinga vehicle. Operate thevehicle fromdesignated loading locations orindividualpick-up pointsto medical appointments, religious services, and otherauthorizedactivities asinstructed. Assistresidents in and out of vehicles. Carry outnecessarybusinesserrands,i.e.deliveries,asinstructedby the administration. Communicate effectively with residents and conciergeteam. Maintain daily logsforgas, maintenance,and repair. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Ability to communicate with older adults in akind andpatient manner. Demonstrate sound judgment in navigatingdifficult situations Education and Experience High school diploma or GED. Valid state-issued driver's licenserequired. Good drivingrecord with no speeding or other moving violations, including DWI. Drivermust be 21 years or older.
