Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification Active state licensure (or eligibility) Previous experience in a cath lab or similar imaging environment preferred Strong understanding of sterile technique and monitoring vital signs during cardiac procedures Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, and other interventional procedures Operate fluoroscopy and specialized imaging equipment to produce high-quality images Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, radiation protection guidelines, and infection control practices Monitor patients' vital signs and provide assistance to ensure comfort during procedures Maintain accurate documentation related to procedures, equipment usage, and patient records Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure optimal patient care
