Travel RN Emergency Room

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Travel Deliver essential emergency care in a fast-paced, well-supported environment catering to patients from infants to geriatrics. This contract opportunity in a busy 31-bed ER provides the chance to utilize and further your advanced nursing skills with a diverse caseload, including trauma stabilization, cardiac events, sepsis, behavioral health crises, and critical care interventions.

Schedule/Hours:

Available shifts: Days (0700-1900), Mids (1100-2300), Nights (1900-0700) Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend No on-call responsibilities Holiday coverage follows a set rotation; not all holidays required Schedules developed in 6-week blocks, released a month in advance

Qualifications:

Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience required; no first-time travelers Confident in leading by example, acting as a subject matter expert and an adaptable team player Experienced with Cerner EMR, IV starts, foleys, NG tube insertion, neuro assessments, triage, code response, and the management of pressors/cardiac drips, sedation, and complex emergencies

Key Responsibilities:

Triage, assess, and deliver high-quality care to a diverse patient population presenting with complex medical, behavioral, and trauma-related conditions Initiate and titrate advanced therapies (pressors, cardiac drips, sedation) Collaborate with ER physicians, midlevel providers, and multidisciplinary hospital teams Provide leadership within the unit, supporting peers and fostering a positive team environment Document care effectively using
