Key Qualifications:
ARDMS (or equivalent) certification in General Ultrasound Proven experience performing a variety of sonography procedures Strong understanding of hospital policies, patient privacy, and medical ethics Ability to instruct and mentor ultrasound students or new staff Proficiency in PACS and EHR systems preferred Exceptional organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Execute and interpret ultrasound procedures to support clinical diagnosis Uphold department efficiency, proficiency, and adherence to protocols Foster a collaborative work environment and mentor students/new employees Ensure top image quality and participate in quality assurance peer review Oversee routine maintenance and supply management; report equipment issues promptly Verify patient information and document all relevant patient care incidents Coordinate patient transport, monitor throughout exams, and support procedures as needed
