Primarily onsite with some flexibility for remote work, including conducting IEP meetings online Key responsibilities include: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with visual impairments to promote academic success and independence Utilize telehealth platforms to support students and families remotely when required Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to develop and monitor student progress Conduct assessments and gather detailed data on student needs and progress to inform instructional planning Provide training and resources to parents and school staff on strategies to support visually impaired learners Desired qualifications and experience: Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Demonstrated experience working with students with visual impairments in educational settings Familiarity with telehealth technologies and remote instructional methods Strong communication skills for effective collaboration during IEP meetings and family consultations Ability to collect detailed data and adjust instructional plans based on individual student needs This opportunity offers a dynamic blend of onsite and telehealth work, supporting meaningful educational outcomes for visually impaired students.
