Location Downtown Full/Part Time Full-Time Exempt from Classified Service No Minimum Rate 46780.82 Min Pay Frequency Yearly Maximum Rate 81995.05 Max Pay Frequency Yearly Regular/Temporary Regular Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Three years of advanced clerical or public contact experience are required. Completion of coursework may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. Recruitment Notes The position is responsible for advanced clerical work for the Clerk of the Board's office, providing essential administrative support and maintaining official records for Miami-Dade County; processing and maintaining official county documents, handling financial transactions, and supporting various administrative functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Attest to signature authorization on official county documents. Maintain and Organize official documentation. Process financial transactions as a cashier. Prepare various permits including racing, Palmistry, and Occult Sciences permits. Support the preparation and advertising of legal notices. Maintain the Board's annual BCC meeting calendar. Update the County's Calendar. Coordinate the recording of Special taxing districts and road closing items. Provide backup support for others, ensuring operational continuity within the office.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of clerical procedures and records management. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in processing and maintaining official documents. Ability to handle financial transactions accurately. Effective professional relationships with staff and public. Excel in written and oral communication. Strong customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Initiative in completing assigned tasks. Maintain flexibility to adjust to changing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Competence in document management systems. Knowledge of county government operations and procedures.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
