Full Job Description Specialized Community care is looking for Service Coordinators! Are you dedicated to supporting folks in their growth as an individual? Are you able to multi-task, and switch gears quickly? Does a challenge excite you? SCC is a specialized service agency providing supportive services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our agency is a quirky fast-paced environment that is consumer focused/driven and committed to fostering a caring and supportive culture for both consumers and employees and are seeking like-minded individuals.
Some requirements of this role:
- Flexible schedule, including availability to attend meetings/emergencies at varying times including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, deal with conflict, provide emotional support to your teams and complete documentation in a timely manner.
- Technical skills are a must have, and the ability to provide direct support to the consumers that you provide Service Coordination for.
- Ability to collaborate with outside support agencies, guardians, consumers and team members.
- Supervision of staff and Shared Living Providers associated with the consumer you serve.
- Ability to advocate for the consumer you serve in all areas.
- A positive outlook, patience, and a sense of humor.
