Veterinary Receptionist/CSR

About this role At Concord Veterinary Clinic, our Client Service Representatives are the heartbeat of the practice — the first voice clients hear and the last impression they take home. We're looking for a proven veterinary CSR with hands-on front desk experience who brings warmth, professionalism, and composure to every interaction. What you'll do Client check-in & check-out Welcome clients and their pets, complete the sign-in process, verify contact and appointment details, notify the medical team of arrivals, and escort clients to exam rooms. At check-out, confirm services and product charges, process all payment types, and schedule follow-up appointments using our practice management software (AVImark). Phone & communication management Answer inbound calls from clients scheduling appointments, asking clinical questions, or requesting medication refills. Process refill requests to pharmacy as authorized by a veterinarian. Make proactive outbound calls for appointment reminders, pre-surgical fasting instructions, and wellness service follow-ups. Clinical knowledge & team support Demonstrate working knowledge of common vaccination protocols, basic diagnostics, prevalent diseases, veterinary terminology, and typical pet behavior — enough to field client questions confidently and communicate effectively with the medical team. Hospital cleanliness & environment Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and front desk area — because the client experience begins the moment they walk through the door.
