Job Description
Description We are looking for a dependable Receptionist to support a small law firm. This permanent, in-office position is well suited to someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment while keeping daily office operations organized and on track. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment and a hands-on approach to administrative support in a fast-paced legal setting.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome clients, guests, and service providers with a courteous and attentive presence at the front desk.
- Manage a multi-line phone system, screen incoming calls, and route messages to the appropriate team members promptly.
- Sort incoming mail, accept deliveries, and distribute correspondence to maintain smooth daily office flow.
- Keep the reception area and shared office spaces neat, presentable, and ready for visitors throughout the day.
- Provide refreshments and general hosting support to help create a positive experience for clients and guests.
- Assist with administrative duties such as filing, document organization, tracking assignments, and completing routine office tasks.
- Support attorneys and office staff with day-to-day operational needs and special projects as priorities arise.
- Help handle legal and procedural administrative work, including navigating court-related systems and processing documents accurately. Requirements
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, administrative, or office support role is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented and approachable manner.
- Excellent organizational abilities and close attention to detail in a busy office environment.
- Ability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and follow-through.
- Sound judgment, practical problem-solving skills, and the confidence to take initiative when needed.
- Comfortable learning new processes, including court-related administrative procedures and office workflows.
- Reliable, positive, and team-oriented approach with a willingness to contribute wherever needed.
