Full-Time Receptionist/Front Office Assistant The Lexington Assisted Living Center-Lincoln, NE Full-Time/40 Hours per Week/$17.00-$18.00 per Hour The Lexington Assisted Living Center is looking for friendly, dependable, and organized Receptionist/Front Office Assistant to join our team. Our front desk is our point of contact for residents, families, visitors, employees, venders, and members of the community. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people of all generations, especially older adults, and who can create a warm and welcoming first impression while helping keep our busy front office area organized. This is not a medical reception position. There is no medical scheduling, insurance verification, or clinical work involved. This position combines traditional reception duties with general administrative support for our office and management team. Responabilities Greet residents, families, visitors, venders, and applicants in a friendly professional manner. Answer incoming telephone calls and direct them appropriately. Assist residents and visitors with general questions and directions. Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional front desk. Receive and distribute mail, deliveries, and documents. Perform general data entry and computer work. Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and maintaining office records. Prepare and organize forms, packets, correspondence, and other materials. Assist management and other departments with routine and administrative projects. Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Communicate effectively with employees throughout the community. Handle multiple priorities and interruptions while maintaining accuracy and a positive attitude. Perform other general front desk duties as needed. What We're Looking For Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Friendly, Professional, and welcoming personality. Comfortable interacting with older adults and people from multiple generations. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and outlook. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Accurate typing and data-entry skills. Organized and detail oriented. Dependable and punctual. Able to work independently while also being part of a team. Able to recognize what needs to be done and take initiative.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
