Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic agricultural team as a Livestock Handler and become a vital part of our commitment to sustainable farming and animal welfare. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient management of livestock, ensuring their health and well-being while maintaining the integrity of barn operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a hands-on environment, utilizing a variety of equipment and machinery to support farm productivity and animal care. Responsibilities Safely handle, feed, water, and monitor livestock health, ensuring adherence to animal husbandry standards. Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, agricultural tractors, and farm equipment to assist with daily tasks such as feeding, cleaning, and moving animals. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across all barn areas by conducting inspections, managing manual handling tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Requirements:
Proven experience/background in livestock handling and animal husbandry. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, agricultural tractors, and farm machinery confidently and safely. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments to ensure a secure workplace for all team members. Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required for livestock management. Outdoor work experience with the ability to adapt to varying weather conditions while maintaining high standards of animal care. Pay:
From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
