Estimator & Project Manager — Residential Construction About Hilltop Builders Hilltop Builders is a growing, family-oriented construction company focused on quality work, honesty, and long-term relationships with our clients. We're looking for an experienced Estimator & Project Manager who enjoys meeting clients, finding solutions, and managing projects from start to finish. This role blends client consulting, estimating, and project management — ideal for someone with hands-on understanding of residential construction. Types of Projects You'll Commonly Handle We are especially looking for someone with experience in: Retaining walls (engineered and non-engineered) French drains and drainage systems Foundation repair and stabilization Retrofit and structural reinforcement work Concrete flatwork (driveways, walkways, patios) Concrete demo and replacement Grading and soil/erosion control Waterproofing and moisture intrusion solutions (Experience with permitting and inspections is a big plus.) Responsibilities Meet with homeowners to understand their goals and project needs Recommend the best solutions based on budget, scope, and site conditions Prepare accurate estimates and detailed proposals Send contracts and clearly explain scope and expectations Coordinate schedules with subcontractors, inspectors, engineers, and the office Oversee projects to ensure work is completed according to plans and standards Communicate with clients throughout each phase Collect payments and track milestones Manage projects from start to completion Requirements Experience in residential construction (preferred: drainage, concrete, retaining walls, or foundation work) Strong communication and customer-service skills Organized, reliable, and self-driven Ability to manage multiple jobs at once Ability to read plans (or willingness to learn quickly) Familiarity with inspections and permitting is a plus What We Offer Supportive, family-style work environment Warm, qualified leads Real opportunities for growth and advancement Competitive pay (base + commission/bonuses depending on experience) How to Apply If you have experience in the types of work listed above and want to grow with a supportive team, we'd love to talk.
