Job Description
Skillforce is se eking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Safety Professional to join our team on a data center in Sparks, NV. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of safety coordinator experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on ensuring workplace safety through proactive hazard identification, compliance with OSHA regulations, and continuous improvement of safety protocols. If you have a passion for maintaining a safe working environment and possess the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply! Hours are Monday-Thursday, 10 hours/day. There will be potential for overtime on this project as well.

Full-Time Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular safety inspections of construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and procedures to prevent accidents and promote a culture of safety. Provide safety training and orientation to construction workers, supervisors, and management. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, and incident reports. Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to promote safe work practices. Ensure all workers are equipped with necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and are following safety guidelines. Stay up to date with OSHA regulations and industry safety best practices, and provide guidance to management on changes to regulatory requirements.Qualifications:
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification is required. Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a construction safety professional. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices. Ability to conduct safety audits, identify hazards, and recommend corrective actions. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and engage workers at all levels. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.Benefits:
