Apprentice Plumber Position Summary This individual will be assisting our licensed Plumber with installation of new and existing plumbing/HVAC systems for commercial/industrial buildings while improving their own skills. Essential duties and responsibilities
- Installation of new and existing plumbing / HVAC systems for commercial /industrial buildings.
- Learning general knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Learning to read and understand plans and specifications.
- Learning the materials required for plumbing / HVAC project tasks. Competencies, Certifications, and Licenses
- Adept at using the basic tools of the trade.
- Good math skills for accurate measurements.
- Excellent manual dexterity.
- Strong active listening skills.
- Valid driver's license
- EPA Universal Technician Certification (a plus).
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with customers and co-workers.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team. Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training may be advantageous.
