09/17/2026 Job Description Job Description We are seeking a hands-on Wiring Technician to support the setup of internal QA test harnesses. This role is ideal for candidates with low-voltage wiring experience, strong technical documentation skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
TOP 3 MUST-HAVE SKILLS
Low-voltage wiring and harness assembly - including cutting, crimping, soldering, terminating, and routing wires (e.g., Cat 6, 22 gauge). Tool proficiency - crimpers, wire strippers, multimeters, and soldering tools (SMT and through-hole). Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
Nice-to-Have Skills :
J-STD-001
Certification or similar. Experience with access control systems, cameras, or network installations (RJ45, keystones, etc.). Familiarity with Linux or Mac terminal environments.
QA Testing Experience Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Build and install test wiring harnesses for internal QA. Cut and run Cat 6 and other low-voltage wires to devices/cutting cat 6 wire and wiring to devices. Perform basic testing (continuity, low-voltage). Document wire movements and inventory using Google Sheets. Use Jira and Google Workspace for task tracking and documentation. Collaborate closely with engineering and QA teams. Running wire, cutting wire, wiring setup. May have to run test Ability to read and follow wire harness assembly instructions Experience working with access control or cameras is a plus. Terminal experience is a plus because they can have them run test if needed. Terminal experience means someone with Linux terminal experience, Mac terminal experience is also acceptable
QUALIFICATIONS
1-3 years of hands-on experience with wiring and harness assembly. Ability to read and follow basic wiring diagrams and schematics. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs with assistance). Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Must pass a full drug panel screening (safety-sensitive role). Need to be able to lift 25 and anything over 25 can be a assisted lift Max 50 lbs.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Certified technician with experience in wiring harness assembly and low-voltage testing. Skilled in soldering, crimping, and routing wires. Comfortable working from technical documentation. Familiar with Cat 6, RJ45, and network cabling. Strong documentation and communication skills. Available to work onsite and start within 2 weeks.
