Job Description
Role Summary Our Northport, AL team is looking for a skilled Construction Project Manager who brings extensive fabrication expertise to the table. You will be responsible for guiding projects through their full lifecycle, from the initial planning stages to final delivery, while maintaining strict control over timelines, financial targets, and quality benchmarks. We are looking for a motivated professional who excels at leading teams and optimizing resources to achieve project success. Core Duties Direct and supervise construction initiatives to guarantee they are finished on schedule and within the allocated budget. Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to verify that all project requirements are strictly followed. Supervise fabrication workflows to help maintain high-quality standards across the entire construction process. Perform frequent on-site evaluations to track development and resolve any emerging challenges. Deliver comprehensive project status briefings to management and key stakeholders. Handle all essential project paperwork, such as progress updates, change orders, and contractual agreements. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by ensuring full adherence to industry safety protocols. Cultivate and sustain strong professional connections with vendors, clients, and internal staff members. Required Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline. At least 5 years of professional experience managing construction projects, specifically involving fabrication. Comprehensive knowledge of construction materials, industry-standard safety regulations, and building processes. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse teams effectively. High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and various project management software tools. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to foster collaboration. Proven capacity to make critical decisions and solve complex problems in high-pressure environments. Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is considered an asset.
