In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality carpet tiles and other flooring materials across various commercial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a skilled team dedicated to excellence in building material installation and restoration. Duties Measure and interpret construction plans to determine installation requirements. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing floors to ensure optimal adhesion and finish. Install carpet tiles, vinyl floors, hardwood, epoxy floors, and other flooring materials using hand tools and power tools with precision. Handle manual tasks such as cutting, fitting, caulking, and sealing to achieve seamless flooring layouts. Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, building codes, and industry best practices for construction site safety. Qualifications Proven experience in flooring installation including carpet tile laying, vinyl floor installation, hardwood flooring, epoxy floors, and tile laying. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, building material installation, and interpretation of technical drawings. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as cutters, trowels, scrapers, caulking guns; as well as power tools like drills and saws. Familiarity with construction site experience including safety compliance protocols related to building installation safety standards. Ability to handle manual tasks involving lifting heavy materials safely and efficiently. Experience with restoration industry practices including water damage restoration and surface refinishing is a plus. Basic carpentry skills and handyman experience are advantageous for versatile project support. Must have own vehicle and tools. Must be able to work overnight when needed and travel to different locations: Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Fort Myers & Naples.
