In this full-time role, you will focus on 1st and 2nd grade inclusion classrooms, playing a pivotal role in fostering both academic and personal growth for learners with diverse needs. Your key qualifications:
Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement. Experience or strong interest in inclusion settings, working collaboratively with general education staff and paraprofessionals. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) effectively. Familiarity with special education legal requirements and best practices.Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering tailored instructional support in 1st and 2nd grade inclusion classrooms. Collaborating closely with general education teachers to modify curriculum and instruction.Managing IEPs:
creating, implementing, and tracking student progress toward goals. Consulting with families, maintaining open communication about student progress and needs. Utilizing data-driven methods to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed. Cultivating a welcoming and supportive classroom climate for all learners.Benefits and perks:
