Qualifications:
Valid teaching license with Special Education certification, or eligibility in Indiana. Experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred. Comfortable supporting Junior High and/or High School students with mild disabilities. Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Teach resource and self-contained classes for students with mild disabilities (grades 7-12). Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and provide classroom accommodations. Write and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Support student growth through targeted instruction and advocacy. Facilitate positive classroom environments and foster student engagement.
