Senior Compensation Analyst

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Compensation Analyst , to analyze, administer, and lead the design, evaluation, and continuous improvement of compensation programs including developing and maintaining job descriptions, job evaluation, internal equity and external market analysis, salary administration, and variable pay plans. You will serve as a subject matter expert and consultative partner to HR Business Partners and leadership to ensure compensation programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned to organizational strategy. Support the design, implementation, and governance of total rewards programs, policies, and procedures. Support and operationalize the organization's job architecture framework, including job leveling, career paths, and compensation structures. Ensure that compensation programs, policies and practices enhance the Hospital's ability to attract, retain, motivate and engage employees and are compliant with regulations, union agreements, plan documents, and policies. $49.87 - $74.81 per hour
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field, with 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources and/or Finance; 3-5 years of Compensation or Total Rewards experience preferred. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word, including developing complex spreadsheets, presentations, and statistical analyses. Strong knowledge of compensation practices and employment regulations, including FLSA, DOL, ADA, EEO, and other applicable compliance requirements. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate project workstreams, and work independently with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, communicate effectively with employees and management, and provide consultative guidance on compensation-related decisions.
Responsibilities:
Lead compensation and HR market survey participation, conduct complex market and pay equity analyses, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for leadership. Manage compensation programs and processes, including merit, market, step, contractual, incentive, and variable pay programs, while identifying trends and recommending process improvements. Evaluate and maintain job architecture, job descriptions, and Workday job profiles to ensure appropriate leveling, market alignment, data integrity, and governance. Partner with HR, Finance, Talent Acquisition, HRIT, and leadership on compensation planning, job offers, internal transfers, regulatory compliance, and complex compensation matters. Lead and contribute to compensation-related projects, including system enhancements, process improvements, program rollouts, employee communications, and regulatory updates.
