Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. As a Kennel Technician, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our furry friends. This position requires a love for animals, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and administering medication as directed
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Monitor the health and well-being of animals, reporting any concerns to the veterinary staff
• Exercise and socialize animals to promote their physical and mental well-being
• Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
• Assist with basic dog training exercises under the guidance of the training staff
• Handle animals safely and securely during check-ins, check-outs, and throughout their stay
• Maintain accurate records of animal care, behavior observations, and any medical treatments

Experience:

• Previous experience in pet grooming, dog training, or animal care is preferred but not required
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with confidence and patience
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with pet owners
• Knowledge of basic animal health and behavior is a plus
