Flexible, primarily remote with occasional in-person meetings and events Position Overview Seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Program & Project Support Assistant to assist with a variety of nonprofit, community, and business projects. Projects include work related to mental health, social justice, youth development, community support, criminal justice/reentry, and advocacy. This position offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in nonprofit operations, program development, grant writing, community outreach, and project coordination. This could be a great fit for a college student, graduate student, recent graduate, or someone looking for flexible part-time work and additional income. Responsibilities Spreadsheets, databases, and online systems Assisting with grant research, grant writing, applications, and reports Helping prepare PowerPoint presentations, trainings, and meetings Making professional phone and Zoom calls and communicating with community partners Assisting with student/intern activities and program coordination Supporting community outreach and program promotion Helping prepare for events and meetings Ideal Candidate Friendly, professional, and comfortable communicating by phone Compassionate, empathetic, and interested in helping others Computer savvy and comfortable learning new programs Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Able to work independently and meet deadlines Comfortable with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and Zoom Interested in mental health, psychology, social justice, criminal justice, youth development, or nonprofit work Interested in developing skills in grant writing and nonprofit development Comfortable interacting with people from different backgrounds No specific degree or extensive professional experience required. Students and individuals early in their careers are encouraged to apply. Work Arrangement & Growth The position is primarily remote , with occasional in-person meetings, trainings, community events, and networking opportunities in the Auburn area. $15/hour | Approximately 5-10 hours per week to start There is potential for increased hours, responsibilities, and compensation as programs and projects expand.
